Corbus, LLC welcomed Dr. Amit Shekhar on September 5, 2011 as Sr. Vice President and India Operations Head for the global company. Dr. Shekhar will oversee all solution development and execution from Corbus' India centers located in Noida and Gurgaon. He brings with him over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industries.

Dr. Amit Shekhar has leveraged his technical and managerial expertise to achieve success and drive competitive advantage for global clients. Providing more than 50 global solution implementations across numerous IT and BPO programs and setting up IT practices worldwide across various verticals has given him the knowledge to cultivate successful teams.
Before joining Corbus, he held leadership roles for leading global IT & BPO organizations that include Genpact, HCL Technologies and i2 Technologies.
Dr. Shekhar has earned a Doctorate degree in Industrial Engineering from Kansas State University, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology in Roorkee, India.
