Description:

Corbus is currently seeking an experienced Sales / Business Development Director in Supply Chain Management Services to help accomplish our aggressive growth strategies.  The successful candidate will be tasked with acquiring new customers in target industries.  This role requires a seasoned professional, skilled at building impactful relationships and at working across organizational boundaries, influencing key stakeholders, and driving Corbus’ growth imperatives. This position is focused on accomplishing Fiscal Year and long term growth strategies, and bringing to market new or expanded service offerings and growth initiatives. We are looking for an experienced professional, with the right mix of technical and business experience, to focus on achieving and exceeding revenue and performance goals.


Requirements:
  • Researches market, generates new business and qualifies relationships for highly complex products or product families to enhance company revenues and profits.
  • Manages large complicated sales cycles in a mostly domestic market.
  • Coordinates, in conjunction with other members of the pursuit team, the entire sales cycle from initiation to completion, for delivery of customized business solutions to clients on highly complex projects. Crafts approach that meet customer needs and supports company direction.
  • Identifies and oversees the implementation of innovative business development and sales strategies by leveraging product and service offerings. Crafts solutions to meet customers needs while positioning company for future prospects.
  • Provides support to senior management in negotiations, contract development, due diligence and other business or alliance development needs.
  • Develops strategic business relationships with key decision makers including customer senior management.
  • Interfaces with internal department senior management and external partners to develop and implement strategies, plans and business models.
  • Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.

  • Bachelors degree (BS) in Accounting, Finance, Procurement Sales/Marketing/Management required.
  • MBA considered a plus.
Additional Information:

Desired Professional Background

  • Seven or more years of business development or sales experience.
  • Experience working with procurement, finance and accounting systems.
  • Extensive experience selling enterprise Source to Pay/Procurement software products and services, including BPO, to the top 1000 U.S. companies (deals range from $200K to$10 Million).
  • Extensive Procurement industry knowledge with technical and functional aspects of Supply Chain including but not limited to: procurement, logistics, strategic sourcing, planning, and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients up to the Board level.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain successful relationships at CEO, CFO, COO and CPO levels within prospect companies.
  • Strong communication skills to listen to the client and articulate back for solutioning.
  • Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced team members.
  • Ability to lead, mentor and coach while working in a team environment.
  • Ability to create and maintain formal and informal networks.
  • Ability to travel 50-75% domestically with minimal international trave.
  • Strong personal-business ethics.
